Sheryl Cruz and Ciara Sotto Plays Young Manang Henya and Donya Margaret in Walang Hanggan

Posted on October 5, 2012 | 11:38 AM

Sheryl Cruz and Ciara Sotto will be joining the cast of the phenomenal Walang Hanggan as the show enters its last few weeks.

The two singer-actresses will be playing the young Manang Henya (Susan Roces) and Donya Margaret (Helen Gamboa) in the top-rating series.

The casting of Sheryl and Ciara as the younger versions of sisters Virginia (Henya) and Margaret is a very good choice since these two are truly related to Susan and Helen. Sheryl Cruz is Susan's niece while Ciara Sotto, as we all know, is the daughter of Helen Gamboa.

ABS-CBN correspondent Marie Lozano posted the photo above on Twitter saying that these is a part of a pivotal scene in Walang Hanggan. The flash back would probably dig deeper into the relationship as sisters of Henya and Margaret and what causes the hate in Margaret's heart.

Also shown in the photo are veteran actors Mark Gil and Melissa Mendez, who will portray the parents of both Henya and Margaret.

Walang Hanggan is even more exciting now that it nears its finale so don't miss the big revelations weeknights after Princess and I on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.

“I’m so happy and grateful to all the fans of the show because we finally made it to number one! All the sleepless nights and hard work is worth it,” said Kathryn who recently took part in the relief operations of Sagip Kapamilya at the height of floods.

According to Kathryn, joining the relief efforts was nothing compared to the sufferings of the flood victims. “It was heartwarming to personally hand out the donations in the evacauation center. It was the first time that I’ve experienced it and there was really a different kind of joy while we were there,” she said.

Meanwhile, the primetime princess is excited for their drama series’ big surprises and revelations. The viewers should watch out for the scene when Haring Anand (Albert Martinez) discovers that her princess is in the Philippines. Will Jao (Enrique Gil) fight for his love for Mikay (Kathryn) or will he just let her be with Gino (Daniel Padilla)?

Tito Sen Despises DoƱa Margaret, Black Lily's True Identity Revealed!

Posted on July 24, 2012 | 4:16 PM

Phenomenal TV drama “Walang Hanggan” remains to be the undisputed no. 1 TV program in the country today as proven by the latest data of Kantar Media last Friday (July 20), when it garnered a national TV rating of 37.7%, compared to its rival program in GMA, “Makapiling Kang Muli,” which only got 15.5%.

Eula Valdes as Black Lily (the returning Jane Montenegro played by Rita Avila) and Donya Margaret played by Ms. Helen Gamboa

According to veteran actress Helen Gamboa, who is popularly known now as DoƱa Margaret, because of the show’s phenomenal success, even her husband Senator Tito Sotto gets carried away with the wickedness of her character. “Tito feels sorry for Ate Henya (Susan Rocess) because of my role’s snobbish attitude,” Helen said. “I always tell him that those things are required in the scenes.”

Helen further shared that like the avid viewers of their drama series, Helen’s kids are also in awe of her very convincing portrayal. “My children laugh at me when they watch the show because I am very different from Margaret; but they are very proud of me that I’m doing my role very well,” she narrated.

Meanwhile, Jean Bonifacio/Black Lily (Eula Valdes) slowly reveals her true identity as the plot of “Walang Hanggan” continues to thicken. What will Marco (Richard Gomez), Emily (Dawn Zulueta), Daniel (Coco Martin), and Katerina (Julia Montes) do when they find out that the one who is seeking revenge from them is Jane (Rita Avila)? How will the prostitute (Wendy Valdez) change Nathan’s (Paulo Avelino) life?
