Marco Gumabao and Miles Ocampo Spend More Time Together

Marco Gumabao and Miles Ocampo portray as lovers in the teen comedy series “LUV U” and rumor has it that their fictional roles are becoming true.

“I guess we can’t help to have these rumors. We’re almost always together at tapings,” said Miles. “But we’re mostly with our co-stars too at the set.”

Marco also pointed out that this week’s Halloween episode on “LUV U” required him and Miles to spend more time together. “People should definitely watch out for our scenes at the camp,” he said.

On “LUV U” this Sunday (October 28), JB (Marco) and Camille’s (Miles) entire class will participate in a survival camp. Because of the creepy atmosphere, JB and Camille will be huddled up inside their tent, causing jealousy to Honey (Arie Reyes). To separate the lovers, Honey will call Camille’s grandma, Lola Paula (Joy Viado). The latter will travel to the camp with Jules only to meet disaster.

Maalaala Mo Kaya (September 29) will share the inspiring tale of trial, faith and miracle in the lives of TESDA Secretary Joel Villanueva, his wife Gladys, and their first child, Jaden. The couple will be portrayed by Diether Ocampo and Maricar Reyes.

Joel and Gladys had a good married life until they found out that Joel could not have a child because of his rare medical condition. Joel was in denial of the fact that it was him who has a problem. But as he saw Gladys’ desire to have a child, Joel began to realize that he needed to see a doctor. Both of them were enthusiastic about their situation until Joel had his second operation abroad wherein their doctor told them explicitly that Joel could not produce a child. But just when a lot of doctors said that they will never have a baby, a “Divine gift” came along.

Popular Comedienne Joy Viado Accused of Shoplifting?

Comedienne, Joy Viado was one of the innocent shoppers accused of stealing at a grocery store.

“They wanted to arrest me because I looked like the person in the wanted poster,” said Joy who is more popularly called as Lola Paula in “LUV U”. “Lola Paula was the one accused though, not me. I don’t think I have a look-alike because nobody else has this beautiful face,” the actress said laughing.

The trouble started when Lola Paula (Joy Viado) asked the cousins Camille (Miles Ocampo), April (Angeli Gonzales) and Whitney (Kiray Celis) to accompany her at Cherry Foodarama for some grocery shopping. They would only ask for Rocky’s (Igi Boy Flores) help but the two boys, JB (Marco Gumabao) and Boom (CJ Navato) would follow anyway. Instead of having fun, they will be burdened by Lola Paula’s shoplifting problem.

Teen actress Miles Ocampo was spotted with “LUV U” co-star Marco Gumabao having a leisurely walk at a mall in Manila. The two were seen smiling from ear to ear while holding each other’s hands.

“It was bright and sunny outside, far from the gloomy weather the past weeks so we thought, why not enjoy a leisurely walk?” Miles said. When asked if it was a date, the teen star admitted that it was indeed a date. “It was a date between Camille and JB, our characters in LUV U.”

The “LUV” teams will spread romance in Palawan this Sunday (August 19) as they visit the paradise for their school trip.

“I’m very excited,” said Miles. “The last time I went with my LUV U barkada to the beach was last summer in Boracay. I miss our beach bonding.” When asked if she will have a romantic date with Marco Gumabao in Palawan, the teen actress blushingly denied.

“The whole gang will be there and if there will be a date, I’m sure it will be a group date,” she added.

On this Sunday's (August 5) episode of LUV U, JB’s (Marco Gumabao) jealousy over Camille’s (Miles Ocampo) childhood sweetheart, Bryan (Arvic Rivero), heightens because he believes that Bryan is getting in the way between him and Camille.

Marco Gumabao and Miles Ocampo Closer than Ever

LUV U teen star Miles Ocampo admitted that she and her on-screen partner, Marco Gumabao are growing closer.

But unlike her role in the series, Miles doesn’t feel ready to be in a relationship. “Right now, my studies and my career are much more important,” she said.

“My parents know that there are guys who want to court me but I don’t entertain them because I don’t want to be in a relationship yet,” she added.

At the moment, she focuses more on her character in “LUV U” where she and her co-stars enjoy every taping day. She shared that oftentimes they would laugh and joke around at the set but when tapings begin, they turn serious.

“Our friendship became stronger, more so when the second season started and hopefully, we’ll still be together for a long time.”

Meanwhile on “LUV U”, cousins Camille (Miles), April (Angeli Gonzales) and Whitney (Kiray Celis) will go to an all-girl event at the bowling alley, a victory party. Marco Gumabao Will Start College, Quitting Showbiz?

Marco Gumabao, who plays the lead role of the school heartthrob JB, shared that he has noticed some changes after being formally welcomed to showbiz.

“When I go to crowded places, people notice me, it makes me feel like I should be more careful,” he shared. “My friends, Alfred, Vanjo and I went to school by train (MRT) recently, and it isn’t the same anymore.”

Marco feels overwhelmed with the attention he is getting now and is also thankful for the support of the fans. An incoming AB Psychology major at the De La Salle, he really wanted to play professional basketball but instead found himself in the limelight. But amidst this fame and luck, he never thought of quitting his studies. “I am excited for my first day of classes as a college student. Hope that I can cope with my schedules and taping,” he added.

Meanwhile in “LUV U”, JB’s memory will come back and will be persistent to pursue Camille (Miles Ocampo). But the latter underwent five stages of grief after she saw Honey (Arie Reyes) kissing JB. Will there still be a chance for them?

Miles Ocampo Bonds with Marco Gumabao in Boracay, Not Rushing to have a Boyfriend

Puppy love is normal among teens. But to enter in a relationship at a young age is something that is not easy. This is why Miles Ocampo doesn’t want to rush having a boyfriend.

“There’s a right time for everything. I have to be careful in my every action and decision,” Miles said.

'LUV U' Barkada Goes To Boracay!

Newest teen barkada on TV, LUV U cast flew to Boracay on Friday to tape for the summer episode of the said teen sitcom. The cast and crew, including Marco Gumabao, Miles Ocampo, CJ Navato, Kiray Celis, Angeli Gonzales, Igi Boy Flores, Alfred Labatos and Rhap Salazar were very excited for their first summer getaway together working in a TV comedy series.

LUV U continue to remain supreme on its timeslot beating rival teen show. The mix of former bulilits and newest teen sensations plus a new concept in bringing teen comedy surely contribute to its high ratings.

'LUV U' Pilot Episode Wins TV Ratings, Trends on Twitter

More teens are now hooked to the newest romantic yet hilarious comedy series of ABS-CBN, “Luv U.” This was evident in the TV ratings the program got on its pilot episode.

According to data from Kantar Media last February 9, “Luv U” obtained 11.9% TV rating, which is higher than the 9.1% of a teen-oriented show in the competing station.

Besides the television viewers, netizens are also captivated by this new Kapamilya Comedy offering. On his Twitter account, the program’s lead teen actor Marco Gumabao reposted a fan message that praises his boy-next-door image a lot. “JB, I can’t get you out of my mind,” goes the fan’s t weet.

Marco’s love teammate Miles, on the other hand, also received support from her Twitter fans. “Your love team is so cute. Kilig much,” goes the tweet.

Their first ever campus tour in Ramon Magsaysay High School in Cubao, Quezon City was also well received by the students.

This Sunday, JB (Marco), Camille (Miles), Boom (CJ Navato), April (Angeline Gonzales), Rocky (Igiboy Flores) and Whitney (Kiray Celis) will continue their quest to spread laughter and teen romance.
