National TV Ratings (May 31): Juan Dela Cruz Overcasts Indio Finale

ABS-CBN's Juan Dela Cruz beat Indio from the first time the two were pitted together until the finale episode of GMA-7's epic serye. The Kapuso program registered 21.8% ratings nationwide on its last episode on Friday while the Coco Martin starrer got 34.3%.

Meanwhile, It's Showtime widens its lead to Eat Bulaga. The Kapamilya noontime show garnered 17.7% nationwide, giving Eat Bulaga a 3.4% margin. ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold is also the number 1 afternoon block with its programs figuring in the top 10 daytime shows.

ABS-CBN's Little Champ ended with a big bang as it ranked fifth on primetime, beating GMA-7's highest rating weeknights primetime program Indio according to nationwide TV ratings provided by Kantar Media.

Meanwhile, My Little Juan continues to get the interest of the viewers and is the most-watched afternoon show. Juan Dela Cruz and Be Careful With My Heart are still the country's number 1 primetime and daytime programs, respectively.

National TV Ratings (April 19): Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw Finale Beats GMA-7 Primetime ProgramsThe finale episode of Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw starring Kris Aquino, Robin Padilla and Anne Curtis beat primetime programs of GMA-7 except Indio.

The show ended last April 19 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw registered 18.3% nationwide according to Kantar Media/TNS to clinch the top 6 primetime slot.

Meanwhile, Be Careful With My Heart is unmatched in daytime as Juan Dela Cruz and Ina Kapatid Anak in primetime. It's Showtime has been established as the new noontime leader beating Eat Bulaga. Kapamilya Gold programs beat Kapuso Afternoon Prime. However, GMA-7 canned animes dominated the morning slot.

'Ina Kapatid Anak' Thrashes GMA-7 New Teleserye 'Mundo Mo'y Akin'

ABS-CBN’s no.1 family drama series “Ina Kapatid Anak” keeps everyone at the edge of their seats with the non-stop confrontational scenes between the well-loved characters of primetime princesses Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador.

In fact, based on the data from Kantar Media last Monday (March 18), “Ina Kapatid Anak” garnered 32.2% national TV ratings, beating two rival teleseryes in GMA namely “Indio” that only got 19% and the pilot episode of “Mundo Mo’y Akin,” which only scored 16.2% national TV ratings.

ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold reigned in the afternoon according to the March 8 TV ratings data from Kantar Media/TNS.

Shows like May Isang Pangarap, PHR Paraiso, Pinoy True Stories and Rooftop Prince were all winners in their respective timeslots.

Meanwhile, Juan Dela Cruz is still the most-watched program nationwide followed by Ina Kapatid Anak. Epic serye Indio is GMA-7's only saving grace in primetime ranking 4th in primetime. Temptation of Wife ratings dropped low, probably the reason why it will end in three weeks time.

National TV Ratings (March 6): Juan Dela Cruz and Ina Kapatid Anak Ratings Drop Although still reigning the primetime race, ABS-CBN shows Juan Dela Cruz and Ina Kapatid Anak suffered a drop in nationwide TV ratings on March 6 according to Kantar Media/TNS. 

Far from it's 40% ratings, Ina Kapatid Anak only registered 32.5% on Wednesday. It is expected that it will regain glory when the 'Gabi ng Pagbabago' air this March 7 wherein Kim and Maja's characters will be clashing once more after their graduation from college.

Meanwhile, epic-serye Indio remaind to be GMA-7's saving grace, having snatch the 4th spot in primetime and 5th overall since March 5. Here are the Top 10 daytime and primetime programs on March 6, 2013 among Total Philippines (Urban & Rural) households:

National TV Ratings (March 5): Indio Beats Apoy Sa DagatEpic-serye Indio starring Sen. Bong Revilla scored a high TV rating on Tuesday (March 5, 2013) hitting 22.1%, one of the highest nationwide ratings it has registered so far. The series ranked fifth in the top programs for the said day (4th in primetime) beating Apoy Sa Dagat.

The Angelica Panganiban starrer, however, is able to beat its rival Kapuso show Temptation of wife. Juan Dela Cruz maintained its primetime supremacy followed by Ina Kapatid Anak.

Juan Dela Cruz Pilot Episode Beats Indio in National TV Ratings

ABS-CBN' newest action-drama series Juan Dela Cruz starring Coco Martin won a landslide victory over rival epic-serye Indio in nationwide TV ratings. Juan Dela Cruz premiered on Monday, February 4.

Juan Dela Cruz Pilot Episode Hits 36.5%

The pilot episode of Juan Dela Cruz garnered a 36.5% TV rating nationwide compared to Indio's 16.5%. The GMA-7 epic-serye starring Sen. Bong Revilla had its lowest national TV rating so far with the beginning of the Coco Martin series. Indio is usually getting 18-21% ratings nationwide, on the average.
The pilot episode of Juan Dela Cruz can be described as a "movie made for TV" because of the glossy scenes, meticulous shots and over-the-top special effects. The story itself is also captivating and you can't help but await the next episodes.

Juan dela Cruz is Coco Martin's first take in an action drama-series which is one of the most anticipated teleseryes this year. The said teleserye features the tale about family, friendship, love, faith, and courage that will revolve around the life of a fun-loving young man named Juan (Coco) and his exciting adventures in search for his past and real identity.

Kantar Media (January 29 and 31) TV Ratings: Indio Beats Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw

Kantar Media (January 29 and 31) TV Ratings: Indio Beats Kailangan Ko'y IkawEpic-serye Indio starring Bong Revilla was able to beat Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw in TV ratings nationwide, clinching the 5th spot in national TV ratings (the highest for a Kapuso program). 

Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw, however, beat rival Temptation of Wife while Indio bowed down to Princess and I. Daytime is still dominated by Be Careful With My Heart (which is nominated in the 'Telenovela' category in the 2013 New York Festivals) while primetime is being reigned over by Ina Kapatid Anak.

Ina Kapatid Anak Beat's Indio Pilot Episode in National and Mega Manila TV Ratings

ABS-CBN’s top caliber family drama series “Ina Kapatid Anak” successfully opened its book 2 on Monday (January 14) after its much-awaited grand reveal episode tagged as ‘Gabi ng Katotohanan’ hit the show’s all-time high national TV ratings and conquered the top-trending topics on Twitter Philippines and worldwide.


Based on the data from Kantar Media, the beginning of book 2 that exposed the truth about the real identity of Kim Chiu’s character Celyn garnered a national TV rating of 36.3%, or almost 14 points higher than the pilot episode of its newest rival program in GMA “Indio,” which only got 22.7%. Also, the ratings earned by “Ina Kapatid Anak” was almost double of another GMA primetime teleserye “Temptation of Wife” that only obtained 19% national TV ratings.

Aside from ruling the ratings game as the no.1 primetime TV series nationwide, “Ina Kapatid Anak” also dominated the popular microblogging site Twitter with the episode’s non-stop revelations and confrontations, especially among the characters of its lead stars Kim, Maja Salvador, Janice de Belen, Ariel Rivera and Cherry Pie Picache. With the netizens’ overflowing emotions, the title of the teleserye became a national trending topic, while ‘Cherry Pie’ made it on the top trending topics worldwide, with the seasoned actress’ outstanding dramatic performance as Teresa, the mother of Celyn.

Meanwhile, Ina Kapatid Anak was also able to beat Indio in Mega Manila according to AGB Nielsen. The Kim Chiu-Maja Salvador starrer got 29.4%, a 0.1% difference from Indio's 29.3%.

To show their appreciation to their loyal viewers, “Ina Kapatid Anak” stars Kim, Xian and Enchong will fly to Cebu to join ABS-CBN Regional Network Group’s Kapamilya Karavan this Saturday (January 19), 4pm, at Ayala Center, Cebu.
